Our Mission
At Hue & Hive, we empower people to live intentionally through personal style and design—fostering well-being not just individually, but within homes, communities, and the natural world we all share.

I’m Sarah Hoffman, and for more than a decade, I have been helping people become unstuck— from their homes, their habits, and sometimes even themselves.
After walking through my own seasons of grief and growth, I’ve learned that feeling stuck often stems from deeper wounds, unseen layers of loss, or simply not knowing how to align your outside life with who you are on the inside.
Through my background in Marriage and Family Therapy and other clinical training, I began to understand that true transformation requires honesty: about what we love, what we value, and how we want to live. That understanding now lives at the heart of Hue & Hive.
Here, I blend my therapeutic foundation with experiences in real estate, photography, and remodeling to bring a holistic perspective to color analysis, wardrobe curation, and home organization. Drawing on Marie Kondo’s principles and advanced certifications, I help clients uncover what sparks joy—not just in things, but in identity, expression, and daily living. This work is about more than decluttering or looking put-together. It’s about creating a life and space that reflect who you truly are.

“True Belonging never asks us to change who we are. True belonging requires us to be who we are.”
BRENE BROWN

And while minimalism often gets the spotlight, I’ve found that it’s less about owning less and more about owning what matters.
As my son once said, “I don’t think we’re minimalists—I think we’re maximalists!” I’m drawn to meaningful abundance: a home filled with beauty, movement, personality, and presence. For me, it’s flowers arranged just right, windows open to let in fresh air, and items that are as functional as they are joyful. I want the same for my clients—to feel at home in their space, in their style, and most importantly, in themselves.
When I’m not helping others revive their spaces and sense of self, you’ll likely find me with a camera in hand, a book cracked open, or scribbling down a quote that moved me.
I’m grounded by nature, inspired by beauty, and constantly learning from the people around me. Whether I’m traveling with my husband and son or chatting with a friend over the phone, I’m always paying attention—to meaning, to connection, and to what it means to belong.
Hue & Hive is more than a business—it’s a reflection of my belief that we can all live more clearly, confidently, and consciously, from the inside out.
